Laurie Miller —

Laurie Miller began her legal career in 1977 as a legal secretary at the Grunsky Law Firm in Watsonville, California, where she specialized in personal injury and medical malpractice defense litigation.

Ms. Miller attended the University of California at Santa Cruz Extension and earned her Legal Assistant/Paralegal certificate in 1985.  She later taught classes on civil discovery deadlines through the same program, as well as the Santa Cruz County Legal Secretaries Association and Monterey College of Law.

Two of her former employers have been appointed to the Santa Cruz County Superior Court: Thomas A. Black (deceased) and Robert B. Yonts, Jr.  She also served as the litigation paralegal for Cartwright, Fulton & Adams for 11 years.

Cordial, efficient and thoroughly familiar with the litigation process, Ms. Miller has provided legal support and managed the Santa Cruz office of Redenbacher & Brown, LLP, since 2003.
